CF 85 GAS MASK CARTRIDGE/FILTER
The CF 85 filter cartridge is cylindrical in shape with a ribbed spherical cap profile at the top and bottom.
It is sealed at both ends.
Inside the cartridge is the active carbon layer and anti-aerosol filter.
The cartridges are used together with gas masks to purify the air infected with toxic combat substances in the form of gases, vapors, aerosols, drops, and radioactive dust.
The inhaled air enters through the hole in the bottom cover of the cartridge, passes through the anti-aerosol filter and the active carbon layer and, through the threaded connection, reaches the mask to which the cartridge is mounted, then to the respiratory organs of the wearer.

The CF 85 cartridges are provided with a 40x1/7'' round threaded connection and can only be used with masks provided with the same connection.
The use of handcuffs is allowed only in places with a minimum of 17% oxygen in the air.

The duration of use of the cartridges depends on several factors, namely: the type and concentration of the nox in the atmosphere in which you are, the physical performance of the user, the effort made by him, the humidity and air temperature.
The end of the life of the filters is generally indicated by the appearance of smell, taste or traces of toxic substance.
