Active headphones reduce noise by 25 decibels if they are not turned on. If they are on, it amplifies noises below 40 db, leaves those between 40 and 85 unamplified and stops the microphones/speakers for noises higher than 85 db. The antiphons can be folded for a smaller volume in case of transport. Active headphones have audio input for radio station, MP3, radio, etc.
